We all meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month (except December) at the Watson Chapel Fire Station in Sulphur Springs at 7:00pm.
We are one of the ONLY historical preservation groups in the Trans-Mississippi that not only ALLOWS women and children, but rather ENCOURAGES their participation in meetings and events.

The following was reported in The Pine Bluff Commercial on October 14, 2009:
The William F. Slemons Chapter, United Daughter of the Confederacy of Monticello, will hold a tombstone dedication ceremony for Col. William F. Slemons at 2pm Saturday at the Union Ridge Cemetery.
Col. Slemons, a soldier of the Confederacy, served in Company B, 2nd Arkansas Cavalry. The military tombstone will be placed at his grave site. The Gen. Patrick R. Cleburne Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans of Pine Bluff, will conduct the grave marking ceremony.
Any living descendants of Col. Slemons are invited to attend the ceremony.
