Sponsored by the Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission, a series of free cell-phone tours of historic battlefields around the state is now available. Though there are many more to add, Jenkins Ferry Battlefield was among the first to have this technology implimented.
The signage, text for the audio tour, and the audio itself were all coordinated by the ACWSC nad is perhaps among the best preservation effort attempted by the Dept. of Arkansas Heritage. Other sites will be added as time permits.
